Job description
Monitor drilling operations from a geological perspective; describe lithology and formation changes; maintain high-quality geological and operational records; integrate mudlogging, LWD/MWD and wireline information; identify subsurface risks; and communicate timely recommendations to drilling, subsurface and operations teams. The role requires disciplined reporting, strong HSE awareness and confidence working in fast-moving field environments.
Requirements
Degree in Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline. Typically 8+ years of relevant wellsite or operations geology experience. Offshore or high-activity drilling exposure is preferred. Strong written reporting, teamwork and data-quality skills are essential.
